iPhone App – Around Me

Hey guys!
I was surfing the app store on my iPhone and stumbled upon “Around Me”:

tidbit from app creator:
Around Me allows you to quickly find out information about your surroundings.
How many times have you found yourself in need of finding the closest Gas Station?

So I tested it out in an area that I was unfamiliar with and I was able to find a gas station within a mile,  If you ask me thats a pretty useful app.

I would highly recommend this app to anyone that travels a lot.

Hello all, I stumbled upon http://m.tweete.net,  it is a cool little Twitter mobile program that runs in your  phone’s browser. It is very fast and has a good amount of features.  I really like that you can tweak it a lot, and the avatars in the time line are nice..

Here is a little excerpt from Tweete’s devs:

Tweete was created as an alternative to the mobile web and slandr mobile clients. Twitter mobile web was too featureless, and slandr was too heavy on the bandwidth.

Tweete caters for the middle ground, a combination of commonly used features in a lightweight interface. It has been designed to be fairly customizable depending on your needs.

Check it out on your mobile phone, oh yea they have a beta version but expect bugs

WordPress Mobile Version

Hey there!  I noticed the other day that if you visit my WordPress blog on a mobile phone, you will see a default “mobile version”.  It allows to surf my blog on a phone and its super fast! A huge  thank you to WordPress for producing such a wonderful blog software.

As you all know I still do not have a PC. I am using my phone for my internet , so my typing is not very good This post is about Opera Mini 4.2, it is a great mobile browser for java enabled phones. A few features are as follow:
1. Full web browsing
2. Skins to change colors.
3. Compression for fast loading.
4. Save pages for later viewing.

ChaCha Mobile search very cool and free

chacha.com is a mobile search, you simply dial on your cell phone 1.800.2chacha and ask a question and within a minute you will receive a txt with the answer. I find this to be a very cool number to be stored in your cell phone. Enjoy
